As the Programme gains rapid momentum and transitions swiftly into the delivery phase, the Management team are now seeking to appoint Construction Managers to actively manage and hold day to day responsibility for specific scopes of work.
Reporting to the Senior Construction Manager, this role will provide construction liaison and coordination support for the Participants plots/pavilions within their designated zones.
The Zone Coordination Manager will manage the construction team within their zone for supporting services including logistics, access, assurance construction interface and site progress monitoring.
Managing the construction development coordination and monitoring of the Participants plots/pavilions
Supporting the zone construction team (sector coordination managers) and develop action plans to manage their construction zone in agreement with the Senior Construction Manager
Coordinating with the Site-Wide Logistics team and ensure adequate implementation on the construction logistics process
Liaising with the Security Team to ensure the day-to-day Security Functions are supported
Supporting construction activities in the Participants’ plots, manage and escalate issues and facilitate the resolving procedures
Reviewing the Participants’ contractors’ logistics plans and support the site implementation
Overview the construction interfaces within the zone and provide support where and as needed
Managing the Interface between the Participants contractors in one zone
Providing first point of escalation for any incidents within the Participants and to ensure procedures are followed
Managing the co-ordination roles for construction fire, public protection, first aid and access/egress control
Overseeing and audit the compliance with Authority to Proceed permits and Laydown Area Access Requests
Providing first line support to the Contractors and other Stakeholders on any issues related to plots or pavilions within their zones
Reviewing and validate monthly reports from sector managers and prepare construction progress reports for their zones.

The minimum qualifications for this position are
As a suitable candidate you will be degree qualified in a Construction Management, Engineering and will possess at least 8 years’ experience demonstrating progressive project management roles covering hard and soft landscaping on major construction projects within the Middle East.
You will be coming with the experience of coordinating multiple parties and will be able to facilitate meetings and mediate discussions. You will possess excellent understanding of key project processes as well as sound construction industry awareness.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience
Experience of working on the Dubai market is highly desirable. Preference will be given to those who are discipline specific professionally registered (CIOB, PMP, PMI, ICE, RICS).
