Pearson Middle East is looking to
add a passionate Project Manager to its Solutions & PMO team based
in Dubai. Having both customer facing and internal responsibilities, the Project
Manager will manage the delivery of projects in the Middle East Hub working
closely with product development, customer experience, technology, professional
development and commercial teams.

  • Ensure that projects in the
    Middle East Hub are delivered on-time, within scope, quality and budget
  • Assist in the definition of
    project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and
    ensuring delivery feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability
    and allocation and coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors
    for the flawless execution of projects
  • Develop detailed project plans
    to monitor and track progress
  • Produce and maintain all PMO
    governance documentation for every project under direct responsibility.
  • Measure and report project
    performance using appropriate tools and techniques and escalate to
    management as needed
  • Establish a strong pro-active
    partnership with all Pearson Middle East Hub teams
  • Build and maintain effective
    working relationships with a range of stakeholders understanding their
    needs and goals
  • Travel to client sites across
    the Middle East as necessary (up to 25
    of time)
  • 4-6 years of proven track record managing education and/or technology project deployments on time and within budget in the Middle East.
  • Experience with standard PM processes, documentation and governance.
  • Strong project management skills, managing customer facing projects with ability to influence senior level management and key stakeholders
  • Experience in commercial estimating and planning with sales teams, vendors and clients.
  • Ability to operate at the strategic and operational levels to support the team and add value to clients.
  • Experience managing third party vendors and resources to ensure project deliverables are on time and within budget.
  • Proven ability to manage client engagements under high stress to successful completion.
  • Knowledge of technical platforms, business models and support models with a focus on digital / customer experience solutions is a plus.
  • PMP certification is a plus

  • Bachelor degree or higher.
  • Willing to travel up to 25" of the time.
