Job Details:

Based in our office in Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai and reporting to the Operations Director and the Middle East General Manager, your will responsible for the Planning and progress control activities of all projects and to prepare all the internal and external reporting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage overall master schedule on Primavera P6, integrating work breakdown structure for Project and Engineering Departments, covering all stages of project development (forecast to actual) and associated progress monitoring.
  • Participate in kick off meetings; facilitate follow up and cost assessment after award.
  • Plan and control project scheduling, structure and report progress.
  • Provide the weekly and monthly progress updates to Operations Manager, forecast completions, together with critical path and trend analyses, which includes review of critical activities resource load and variance commentary/areas of concern related to current month performance.
  • Provide year end/total project completion forecasts.
  • Provide a comprehensive cost engineering management and support role within the projects for all levels, by cost control and analysis.
  • Establishes cost baselines for project activities based on award
  • value/estimates, maintain budgets and analyze actual against set up budgets.
  • Prepare internal and external reporting tools for progress measurement such as follow ups, and dashboards. Maintain existing tools and work on their continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience mainly in the project planning role.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience using Primavera P6
  • Degree in mechanical/electrical/civil engineering
  • Good knowledge of engineering/design scope, job working instruction / procedures, good project control practices in planning and scheduling and overall awareness of projects.
  • Knowledge of MS Project
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel
  • Power BI knowledge or qualification would be an advantage
